File Manager Plugin For WordPress

Managing files in WordPress folders can involve switching between tools or giving people more dashboard access than they need. This plugin provides a file manager inside the WordPress dashboard, where administrators can view, edit, create, upload and organize files. It offers a central place to handle those tasks within the site.

Access can be assigned to specific users or groups with their own permissions, and selected users can use a front-end file manager without dashboard access. The manager can preview images, audio and video files, while its built-in image editor includes cropping, resizing and rotating tools.

Features

• Manage WordPress files: View, edit, create, upload and organize files in WordPress folders through a file manager inside the dashboard.
• Set user permissions: Give specific users or groups access to files with their own permissions, so access can be assigned to selected people.
• Front-end file manager: Let selected users work with files through a front-end manager, without needing access to the WordPress dashboard.
• Preview media files: Preview image, audio and video files directly in the file manager while reviewing site content.
• Edit images in place: Use the built-in image editor to crop, resize and rotate images from within the file manager.
• Upload by dragging: Upload multiple files by dragging them into the manager, for handling batches of site content.

Best for

• WordPress sites with many managed files
• Content teams sharing file access
• Sites offering users a front-end file manager
